Customer Service Excellence

City College Coventry has been a holder of a Government Charter Mark Award for several years. This has now been superseded by the new Customer Service Excellence Award which was introduced in 2008.

City College Coventry was among the first group of organisations to achieve this prestigious standard which is awarded for proven first class service to all customers. There a range of criteria that have to be met showing how organisations plan, carry out and monitor the care of their customers and City College is proud of its achievement.


Investors in People

The College was assessed and awarded with 'Investors in People' in February 2003. Investors in People is the national standard which sets out a level of good practice for the training and development of people to achieve business goals. To achieve this award the college demonstrated that it has a commitment to invest in its staff so that they achieve their individual and team goals.


Positive about Disabled People

In October 2002 the College was presented with the Positive About Disabled People certificate, this is in recognition of the college demonstrating it is committed to employing disabled people.

The ability to communicate in English is essential for students wishing to study in the UK. For international students who require it, there is additional English language teaching by staff who specialise in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
