Connexions is a service that gives young people information, advice and guidance.
We provide impartial information and advice about careers, education, training, employment, health, benefits, housing, leisure, voluntary and other topics that students want to know about.
We are here to support students and help them tackle barriers that stop them achieving at College. We focus our work on 16 – 19 year olds on full-time courses.
We offer individual one-to-one interviews for students as well as contributing to group activities across College Centres. We work closely with Student Services across College.
How does Connexions work?
All young people have access to a Personal Advisor who gives them help and information. There is a team of Personal Advisors based at City College Coventry. Personal Advisors help young people with information, advice and support, working closely with a network of contacts on behalf of students. Their top priority is to act on behalf of each young person to make sure they get the help they need.
