National Learning and Skills Council (LSC) chairman Chris Banks visited Coventry to see how two of the city's colleges are creating new learning opportunities.

Mr Banks first visited Coventry City College's new £52 million Swanswell site, which became fully operational for 12,000 students in January 2009. The LSC contributed £22 million to the total cost of the state-of-the-art development. Read More

A Coventry College is bringing back to life a twenty year old play which depicts Britain in recession in the early 80s.

City College Coventry Performing Arts students will be performing the play 'Road' to a selection of Coventry Secondary Schools next month. This work by the award winning author Jim Cartwright, explores the lives of the people in a deprived, working class area of Lancashire during the government of Margaret Thatcher. Read More
